I’m an artist drawn to color, people, and the stories connected to the places around us. My work is bright, expressive, and rooted in the idea that art can capture not just what something looks like, but how it feels.
My latest collection, You Wish You Were Here, began at one of my favorite local coffee shops, Mi Luna. The owner of the Cuban café asked me to create something featuring palm trees, and I took that idea and ran with it. The collection grew into pink skies, blue water, surfers, and palms, with inspiration from Cuba woven throughout. The original paintings are now on display at Mi Luna.
Portraiture is another important part of my work. On Instagram, I created The Portrait Project, where I paint people from my community of followers. Each portrait gives me the opportunity to capture someone through my own style while continuing to explore color, expression, and the individuality of the people I paint.
Whether I’m painting a person, a place, or a moment, I want my work to feel joyful, colorful, and full of life.
